Squiff























































































Based on Calvino's The Flash these images articulate the offness of a cityscape. When suddenly everything looks a bit off kilter. Faces appear in houses, and buildings topple, kicked in their stomach. Regular brick patterns distort and transform into creatures.  I became interested in a simple method of twisting these scenes - by making a circle and spinning it, so that systematically the images wiggle and jar.
